Hunter – Mediterranean Fishing Boat Sculpture
Hunter is a one-of-a-kind fishing boat sculpture by Jordan Dimitrov, inspired by the traditional vessels of the Mediterranean coast. Jordan carved the main form from a solid block of wood and then added more than 450 individually crafted elements to create the boat and its detailed dry dock setting.
The sculpture reflects the practical beauty of traditional fishing boats. Its weathered character, handcrafted details, and strong wooden form tell a story of coastal life and generations of seafaring tradition.
Furthermore, Hunter consists of two separately created parts that fit together with precision. This construction gives the artwork a distinctive sculptural quality while highlighting the careful craftsmanship behind the piece.
